<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission ratio variable device which maintains good steering feeling even during lock operation in a high load state. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU includes a function as a load determination means determining a load state of a motor. Then, when it is determined that the motor is in a high load state, operation of the motor and a lock device is controlled ( resisting load torque clock control) so that a lock lever 33 is engaged with an engaging groove 31 of a lock holder 32 in a rotary position after the motor is driven in the direction of resisting to the load torque, for detail, the lock lever 33 is engaged with the deep groove 31b of the engaging groove 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
