<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dc-dc converter superior in power saving performance, which is suitable for an in-vehicle battery. <P>SOLUTION: A DC-DC converter 1 includes a boosting circuit 11 and a bypass circuit 13 connected in parallel with the boosting circuit 11, supplies power of a battery 2 to a load 3 via the boosting circuit 11 during boosting, and supplies the power of the battery 2 to the load 3 via the bypass circuit 13 during non-boosting. The bypass circuit 13 includes a backflow prevention diode 14 and a switching element 15 connected in parallel with the diode 14. When a voltage is not boosted by the boosting circuit 11, a control device 4 turns off the switching element 15 to supply the power of the battery 2 to the load 3 via the diode 14 in the case where an actuation of the load 3 is lower than a predetermined reference level, and the control device 4 turns on the switching element 15 to supply the power of the battery 2 via the switching element 15 in the case where the actuation of the load 3 is higher than the predetermined reference level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
