摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device capable of enhancing transmittance as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: A TFT array substrate which constitutes an electro-optical device is provided with scan lines extending in a first direction, capacitance wiring extending in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, capacitance wiring extending in a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction, and a plurality of pixels which are formed in a hexagonal shape on which apertures 10a1 are defined by a pair of the scan lines and a pair of the capacitance wiring in the second direction and the third direction respectively, and arranged in a honeycomb shape. A counter substrate which constitutes the electro-optical device is provided with a plurality of lenses 201 in a shape corresponding to the apertures 10a1 of the pixels in the honeycomb shape.
