<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that controls timing of starting fixation temperature adjustment in accordance with image creation conditions, environment and the like when an image creation request is issued and can minimize power required between the time of the image creation request and entry of a recording material into a fixation device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a thermistor 712 that detects the temperature of a fixation heater 701 in a fixation unit 40 and an environment sensor 301 that detects an environment temperature of the fixation unit 40. Based on the temperature detected by the thermistor 712 and the temperature detected by the environment sensor 301, a rising curve determination means 304 calculates a rise time until the temperature of the fixation heater 701 reach a predetermined temperature. Then, a fixation pressure section rush timing determination part 307 calculates a rush time from the image creation request to the rush of a recording material P to a fixation nip part.
