<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that erroneous detection may occur because a full-load detection sensor can neither stop for a period of time to identify a full load condition nor detect the full load condition even though a loading part is in the full load condition, since subsequent paper enters before the full-load detection sensor identifies the full load condition after preceding paper passes through the full-load detection sensor, due to shortened paper feed interval. <P>SOLUTION: An image-forming apparatus secures appropriate paper feed intervals through: a step to detect a sign that erroneous detection may occur in a full-load detection sensor by comparing paper feed intervals detected by a paper path sensor with the paper feed intervals detected by the full-load detection sensor; and a step to delay feed timing of subsequent paper for a predetermined time when it is determined that the erroneous detection seems to occur. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
