<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device such that an upper casing is slid along a width of a lower casing and opened obliquely to the lower casing. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile electronic device of the present invention comprises a lower casing, an upper casing put over the lower casing, and a connection mechanism which connects the upper casing and lower casing to each other, and allows the upper casing to be slid and raised obliquely with respect to the lower casing.
