<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a flocculant to function inexpensively without wasting it, corresponding precisely to the increase of muddy water. <P>SOLUTION: An orifice is installed so as to partition an upstream area into which muddy water flows from a downstream area having a discharge port for overflow in a grit pool, and the flocculant is installed on an upper position at a prescribed distance from the water level height at an ordinary time in the upstream area, and the flocculant is allowed to dip into the muddy water following rise of the water level height in the upstream area caused by the increase of the muddy water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
