<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic warehouse allowing reduction of energy consumption accompanying up/down drive of a stacker crane. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic warehouse 1 includes the stacker crane 5 having a first elevating body 20 performed with the up/down drive and a second elevating body 30 which is connected to the first elevating body 20, reduces a load of the up/down drive, and has a prescribed weight. In the automatic warehouse 1, a load M is made to be loaded on the first elevating body 20, and delivery of the load M is performed between the first elevating body 20 and a load placing part provided in a prescribed height. The automatic warehouse 1 includes a counter weight increase/reduction device 40 increasing/reducing a weight of the second elevating body 30 according to a weight of the load M to be delivered before moving the first elevating body 20 up/down. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
