<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and promptly determine the position of a fold line when evenly folding a square paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A paper folding ruler 10 comprises a first ruler 12 having a first reference side edge 12a; a second ruler 14 having a second reference side edge 14a; and an indicating portion 16 having a side edge 16a (indication line) linearly connecting between a first reference point Q disposed on the first reference side edge 12a and a second reference point R disposed on the second reference side edge 14a to indicate the position of a second fold line L<SB POS="POST">2</SB>counting from the second ruler side 14 on the paper sheet P as an intersection point T<SB POS="POST">2</SB>between a first side X<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and the side edge 16a.
