<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker which is easily installed in a place with a small installation space and can effectively prevent malfunctions. <P>SOLUTION: A circuit breaker comprises: an insulating housing 2; a fixed contactor 6 provided in the housing 2 and having a fixed contact 60; a movable contactor 7 having a movable contact 70 which moves toward or away from the fixed contact 60; and an operating handle 3 which has a handle part 4 exposed to outside of the housing 2 and causes the movable contact 70 to move toward or away from the fixed contact 60 when it is rotated with respect to the housing 2.
