SPECTRUM MEASURING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrum measurement apparatus which alleviates the effect of environment light and enables more reliable recognition of a target object with a spectrum sensor.

SOLUTION: The spectrum measurement apparatus recognizes a target object on the basis of spectrum data on observation light detected by a spectrum sensor S which can measure wavelength information and light intensity information. To recognize the target object, an illumination device 100 which can radiate light including a wavelength region of high atmosphere-absorptivity radiates at least light of high atmosphere-absorptivity to the target object. Then the distance between a vehicle and the target object are recognized by calculation using the spectrum data of observation light of the target object from the spectrum sensor S.
