<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector with safety well improved, without cracks of a front cover, without fear of having fine fragments falling on the ground even in case of cracks, only to an extent of chaps, as shocks are once absorbed by a shock-absorbing net even if a lamp should burst. <P>SOLUTION: For the projector 10 provided with a case body 11 with a discharge lamp 20 mounted, with a concave mirror 21 fitted for reflecting light to an inner wall face surrounding the discharge lamp 20, having an opening part of the concave mirror 21 covered with a translucent front cover 22, and covering a protective net 24 for preventing fragments at break from falling outside the front cover 22, a shock-absorbing net 30 for accepting the fragments at bursting of the discharge lamp 20 is provided between the discharge lamp 20 and the front cover 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
