<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of 100% inspection with a high accuracy in a terminal manufacturing line for a dimension of a serration and a dimension of a portion where the serration is arranged. <P>SOLUTION: A conductor crimping part 12 is formed into a substantially U-shape in sectional view with a bottom plate 21 and a pair of left and right conductor crimping portions 22 and 22, which are extended to both of left and right sides of the bottom plate. A serration 25 is arranged on an inner surface of the conductor crimping part 12 of a crimp terminal 10. In the terminal manufacturing line, the bottom plate of the conductor crimping part is formed into a flat plate with a prescribed width and the conductor crimping part is formed into a U-shape in sectional view by press working; the crimp terminal with the serration arranged in an inner face width on the flat bottom plate is thus manufactured. Meanwhile, a laser displacement meter is installed in a final-stage of the terminal manufacturing line as an inspection method for the conductor crimping part 12, and at least one item of data among an inner plane width of the bottom plate, a serration width, and a serration depth, is taken as an inspection result by measuring an upper face of the flat bottom plate of the conductor crimping part of the crimp terminal being transferred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
