<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically provide a user with advice on diet without constraints on where to have a meal or purchase food products. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: a storage unit for storing model data showing target values for energy of diet, the amount of one or more nutrients included in diet, and the amount of exercise; an input image acquisition unit for acquiring an input image of content of diet taken by a user; an image analysis unit for deriving the energy of diet and the amount of one or more nutrients included in diet by analyzing the input image; an exercise amount calculation unit for calculating the amount of exercise done by the user; a data creation unit for creating life data that includes a result of the analysis by the image analysis unit and a result of the calculation by the exercise amount calculation unit; and an information output unit for outputting information on nutrients, food products, or exercise that should be recommended to the user, on the basis of the comparison between the model data and the life data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
