<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device by which accurate image pickup can be attained even with respect to various purposes and light incidence patterns. <P>SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device 1 comprises: a light receiving unit 10 for imaging; a light receiving unit 20 for triggering; a row selector 30; a column selector 40; a holding unit 50; a pixel data output unit 60; a data output unit 70 for triggering; and a control unit 80. After an absolute value of data for triggering output from the data output unit 70 for triggering shifts from a state of exceeding a first threshold value to a state less than the first threshold value, the control unit 80 determines that light incidence is completed in the event that a state where the absolute value of the data for triggering exceeds a second threshold value, which does not continue over a time τ<SB POS="POST">2</SB>or longer, continues over a time τ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>or longer. When the control unit 80 determines that the light incidence is completed, a charge accumulation operation for each row of the light receiving unit 10 for imaging is completed to perform a signal readout operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
