<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device and a surrounding facilities search and display method which can easily perceive a destination facility as a facility within a particular regulation area. <P>SOLUTION: On-vehicle navigation device comprises a display means, an information input means to input information that the user indicates, a map data storage means which stores map information including information on a regulation area which shows that only vehicles that meet prescribed terms can pass, a storage means which stores passing propriety information showing whether a vehicle can pass the regulation area, and a control means. The control means judges from passing propriety information whether the vehicle can pass such regulation area when the facility searched based on information acquired via the information input means is within the regulation area, and displays on a screen of the display means in a discernible way that the facility is within the regulation area when it is judged that the vehicle cannot pass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
