<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the adhesion of foreign materials on a roller surface supporting an endless belt, and to prevent the deterioration of removing performance of foreign materials with time. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device transfers a document image formed on the endless belt stretched by a plurality of rollers on recording paper. The image forming device comprises: cleaning means for cleaning the surfaces of the rollers, which is provided at one end portion of a contacting surface with the rollers so as not to contact with the plurality of the rollers when the document image is transferred on the recording paper; and roller moving means for moving the endless belt in the direction vertical to a rotation direction. The roller moving means moves the endless belt to a different end portion from the end portion provided with the cleaning means when cleaning the plurality of the rollers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
