<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an effort in correcting deviation of a pointer when the pointer is deviated in its demonstration movement. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece includes a pointer which rotates in a first direction based on an operation signal according to an operation from outside, and a control portion which makes the pointer perform a demonstration movement in which the pointer is rotated in a second direction opposite to the first direction and also in the first direction, in such a manner that the pointer is positioned in a position where a rotation angle in the first direction from a predetermined reference position is smaller than a rotation angle in the second direction from the reference position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
