<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood of simultaneous forced-air supply and exhaust type in which large variation in the temperature of the range hood periphery due to outdoor air does not occur, in the case where the range hood is used as a ventilating unit at other than cooking. <P>SOLUTION: The range hood of simultaneous forced-air supply and exhaust type exhausts indoor air to outdoors by carrying out high-speed rotations of a fan 2 for exhaust and a fan 3 for air supply simultaneously, and at the same time, supplies outdoor air to indoor, wherein the range hood is made so that, when an exhaust switch is turned ON, the fan 3 for air supply is stopped, the fan 2 for exhaust is made to carry out a low-speed rotation exhausting a small amount of indoor air to outdoors for the range hood to be available as the ventilating unit, and outdoor air is not supplied to the range hood periphery, in order to prevent large variation in the temperature of the range hood periphery due to outdoor air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
