<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material leak detection device which has simple structure and surely detects the leak of a coating material in a coating apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The coating material leak detection device is used for detecting a coating material T leaked from a coating robot. The device comprises: a base plate 15 with an almost U-shape arranged at an oil pan 4 set with the coating robot; an elevation bolt 17 of which the shaft 17a is inserted from below into a through hole 16 opened at the upper plate 15a of the base plate 15; a spring member 18 provided in a compressed manner between the head 17b of the elevation bolt 17 and the upper plate 15a of the base plate 15; a pressing plate 19 pressed by the head 17b of the elevation bolt 17 by the spring member 18; a coating material detection member 20 which is interposed between the pressing plate 19 and the lower plate 15b of the base plate 15 and melted by the coating material T; and a pipe member 21 into which the shaft 17a of the elevation bolt 17 projected from the upper plate 15a is inserted in a state before the melting of the coating material detection member 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
