A method for controlling a plant disease which comprises applying a liquid composition to a habitat of plants, wherein the liquid composition comprises 0.1 to 5 % by weight of at least one benzimidazole compound selected from the group consisting of carbendazim, benomyl, thiophanate-methyl and thiabendazole, 0.1 to 3 % by weight of diethofencarb, 5 to 60 % by weight of paraffin oil and water, and wherein the liquid composition is applied to the habitat in an amount within the range of 5 to 50 liters per 1 hectare of the habitat, hows an excellent controlling activity on a plant disease.
