<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic video imaging apparatus includes a liquid crystal layer, color filters, a lens array, a plurality of light-shielding elements, and an optical sheet. A lens array unit includes lens elements provided on a surface of a plurality of color filters. The light-shielding elements may be formed directly on surfaces of the color filters, on surfaces of the lens elements, or on internal surfaces of the color filters in accordance with implementation requirements. The light-shielding elements are arranged at intervals corresponding to the gap between the lens elements. In a combination of the above elements, a combination of the liquid crystal layer and the color filter, and the optical sheet is considered as a liquid crystal display panel structure. Attachment of the lens array and the light-shielding elements directly to the liquid crystal display panel prevents generation of a scattered light, improves clarity of stereoscopic images, obtains a high-intensity display effect, and also reduces thickness of layering effectively, and simplifies the production process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
