APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR ANALYZING MULTI-LANGUAGE GRAMMAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for estimating a grammar common to languages together with grammars of individual languages from a set of sentences described by a plurality of languages.

SOLUTION: A multi-language analyzing apparatus 1 comprises: storage means 4 for storing an individual grammar parameter set 46, a common grammar parameter set 45 and input multi-language data 44; an individual grammar estimation part 21 for estimating grammars of respective languages by alternately executing processing for estimating the probability of a syntax tree based on information stored in each language and processing for estimating and updating a parameter of an individual grammar based on the stored information and the estimated syntax tree probability; a common grammar estimation part 22 for estimating and updating new common grammar parameter based on the updated parameters of individual grammars of respective languages and the stored common grammar parameter; and an estimation processing control part 23 for alternately and repeatedly executing processing for estimating grammars of respective languages and processing for estimating the grammar common to the languages until an end condition is satisfied.
