<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work roll bending apparatus which is adaptable to a large opening degree between work rolls and which enables a bending roll cylinder and a back-up roll lifting cylinder to be compactly arranged in a housing by integrating the functions of both cylinders. <P>SOLUTION: The work roll bending apparatus includes in the project block 1 of the housing, work rolls 2 supported by vertically slidable work roll chocks 4 and back-up rolls 5 supported by back-up roll chocks 7. In the work roll bending apparatus, the back-up roll lifting cylinder 11 for supporting the back-up roll chocks 7 and a pair of the work roll bending cylinders 10 for supporting the work roll chock 4 with the back-up roll lifting cylinder 11 interposed therebetween are arranged in series on the project block 9, and a recessed part through which the back-up roll lifting cylinder 11 passes is provided on the collar 8 of each of the work roll chocks 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
