<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it difficult to generate congestion on a main road in a signal light color controller which controls light colors of traffic lights arranged at an intersection between the main road and a sub-road. <P>SOLUTION: Based on travel speed and a position of each vehicle which travels on the main road, before a certain vehicle (first vehicle) enters the intersection, first interval time showing estimation time until the next vehicle (second vehicle) enters the intersection after the first vehicle enters the intersection, and second interval time showing estimation time until a vehicle (third vehicle) which reaches the intersection first on the main road enters the intersection on the basis of the present are calculated (S130). Then, predetermined reference time is compared with each interval time (S140), when the first interval time becomes equal to or more than the reference time and the first vehicle corresponding to the first interval time enters the intersection, or when the second interval time becomes equal to or more than the reference time, a light color (main light color) of a traffic light on the main road side is shifted to red, and a sub-light color is shifted to blue (S200). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
