PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive imaging optical device that enables a light source array pitch of a light source array and an imaging position array pitch on an image surface to be equal with each other.

SOLUTION: An imaging optical device 1 comprises: a first lens array 10 including I pieces of lenses A1through AIarranged in array; a second lens array 20 including I pieces of lenses B1through BIarranged in array; and a light guide part array 40 including I pieces of light guide parts G1through GIarranged in array. An optical axis of the lens Aiand an optical axis of the lens Bicoincide with each other. The light guide part array 40 is provided between the first lens array 10 and the second lens array 20. A light guide part Giis provided on the optical axis of the lenses Aiand Bi. Shading parts C are provided between two adjacent light guide parts of the I pieces of the light guide parts G1through GI.
