PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package marking method capable of executing beautiful marking without damaging credibility, a package, a piezoelectric vibrator, an oscillator, an electronic device and a radio clock.

SOLUTION: A package marking method for executing marking on a surface of a lid substrate formed in glass comprises a thin film forming process (S100) that forms a thin film on the surface of the lid substrate, and a marking process (S120) that executes marking on the surface of the lid substrate by radiating a laser beam to the thin film formed by the thin film forming process (S100) and by removing the thin film.
