<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical element unit that allows an electrochemical element to be easily fixed to a casing. <P>SOLUTION: An electrochemical element unit includes a plurality of parallel- or series-connected electrochemical elements housed in a box-type casing 51. Each of the electrochemical elements is a capacitor module 40 that has an electric double-layer capacitor 10 with shock-absorbing members 30, 30 attached thereto.
