<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide apparatus for cutting sheet in which a conveying means can be operated in accordance with length of a cut sheet even if the length is various. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet is cut between a first conveying means and a second conveying means in a state in which the first conveying means and the second conveying means halt and in which an upper stream conveying means conveys the sheet at first speed; after the sheet is cut, the first conveying means conveys the sheet at a second speed higher than the first speed to reduce a slack formed during halting, after the sheet is cut, the second conveying means conveys the downstream-side sheet cut at third speed higher than the first speed; if the third conveying means nips the sheet during cutting, the third conveying means conveys the sheet at the third speed; and if the third conveying means does not nip the sheet, the third conveying means conveys the sheet at the third speed or fourth speed after the detecting means detects the sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
