<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus in which variations in the ejection characteristics accompanying a change in temperature can be suppressed, and a control method of the liquid ejecting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid ejecting apparatus, a temperature sensor mounted in the recording head detects the temperature of the recording head when the recording head comes to an area outside the printing area where printing is performed by ejecting ink onto a recording medium placed on a platen having a platen heater, and a driving signal generation circuit corrects the ejection pulse in accordance with the detected temperature by the temperature sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
