<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic secondary air control valve device that is free from any actuation failure, by preventing the entry of contaminations into an electromagnetic actuator, without affecting attraction force characteristics of the electromagnetic actuator. <P>SOLUTION: The electromagnetic secondary air control valve device includes a dust seal 28 for preventing the entry of the contaminations into the electromagnetic actuator. The dust seal 28 includes a cylindrical seal 52 of two steps of a lip 54 and a shoulder 53. The lip 54 is brought into slide contact with an outer circumferential surface of a valve shaft 27 at an inner circumferential side of the lip. The shoulder 53 includes an abutment surface S closer to the outer circumferential side as compared with the lip 54 having a small diameter. The abutment surface S is pressed by a spring load to abut against a small-diameter locking part 50. A bead 55 is provided on the abutment surface S of the shoulder 53. The total amount in the height direction of the bead 55 is crushed to secure a prescribed surface pressure when pressed by the prescribed spring load so that the abutment surface S is reliably in close contact with the small-diameter locking part 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
