PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the operation of an MFP 200 from an application server 330 even when a fire wall is constructed.

SOLUTION: An MFP 200 is provided with: a Web browser part 251; a second Web server 252; a control command storage part for storing a control command for controlling the operation of the MFP 200; and a control application part 253 for controlling the operation of the MFP 200 based on a control command. The Web browser part 251 redirects a prescribed address in the control command storage part based on an HTTP redirect instruction included in a Web page received from an application server 330 to acquire a control command corresponding to the HTTP redirect instruction, and a second Web server part 252 makes the control application part 253 control the operation of the MFP 200 based on the control command acquired by the Web browser 251.
