<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can encourage a user to frequently turn on and off the display device to improve the behavior of the user. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a video signal display unit 110 as display means for displaying video; a camera unit 160 as imaging means for photographing an image to generate image data; an image recognition unit 170 as detecting means for detecting a viewer in an image of the image data generated by the camera unit 160; measuring means for measuring non-viewing time during which the video signal display unit 110 displays video and the image recognition unit 170 detects no viewers; and a viewing information managing unit 180 as recording means for recording the measured time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
