<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display content in such a state that users can browse easily the content without limitation by functions of users' terminals by displaying the content on different peripheral equipment from terminals they use to communicate. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission terminal transmits its own unique information to a reception terminal. The reception terminal transmits the unique information of the transmission terminal received from the same and its own unique information to the peripheral equipment. The peripheral equipment transmits the unique information of the transmission terminal and that of the reception terminal received from the same to a content server. The content server obtains, based on the received unique information of the transmission terminal and that of the reception terminal, the content or the information on the content from storage means storing the unique information of the transmission terminal, that of the reception terminal and the content or information on the content with them having been associated with one another by the storage means in advance, and transmits them to the peripheral equipment.
