PURPOSE: A fuel conversion device is provided to maximize the thermal efficiency of a vapor reformation type fuel conversion apparatus used for a hydrogen fuel cell and to improve thermal independence and fuel reforming efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A fuel conversion device comprises: a cylindrical catalyst combustion part(10) having an inlet pipe(11) and an outlet pipe(13); a tube type reformation part(20) which includes an input pipe(21) and an output pipe(23) and spirally surrounds the outer circumstance of the catalyst combustion part; a cylindrical heating part(30) which includes a gas vent pipe(33) and surrounds the outer circumstance of the reformate reaction part; and a heating source installed at the inner side of the upper heating part.
