<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball dispensing device for a game machine that prevents unexpected rotation of a ball sending unit to prevent unnecessary dispensing of a game ball. <P>SOLUTION: The ball dispensing device 1 includes the ball sending unit 4 rotatably driven by a driving source and provided with a helical projection 42 on the outer periphery of a shaft 41, and a lower flow path 32 of a ball supply flow path 3 through which a game ball sent from the ball sending unit 4 flows down. The helical protrusion 42 is formed with a ball receiving vertical surface 43 substantially perpendicular to the axial direction of the ball sending unit 4.
