<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prevent a wiring sheet from peeling from a side end thereof during cleaning of a liquid discharge side surface by a simple and inexpensive method. <P>SOLUTION: The recording head includes: a recording element substrate 1 having a plurality of discharge ports arranged therein for discharging recording liquid; the wiring sheet 3 having an opening formed therein for exposing the recording element substrate 1 and having flexibility for transmitting a recording signal to the recording element substrate 1; a supporting substrate 2 to which the recording element substrate 1 is adhered and to which the wiring sheet 3 is adhered so that the recording element substrate 1 is exposed from the opening; and a housing 16 to which the supporting substrate 2 is bonded having the recording element substrate 1 and the wiring sheet 3 adhered thereto. The wiring sheet 3 adhered to the supporting substrate 2 includes a part 3c bent along an end face of the supporting substrate 2.
