The prosthesis has a base plate (4) equipped with a receiving unit i.e. plane surface, that receives an insert (3). A femoral element (2) is equipped with a fixation unit i.e. internal thread. A median relief (8) of the insert comprises a stabilizing stud (12) embedded in a cage (9) of the femoral element. The stud comprises a distal part (13) that extends at a rear of a pivoting axis of the insert on a tibial element (1). The stud comprises a posterior wall (14) that is provided with a camber (15) to receive a bulged end of an intercondylar bar during flexion of a knee.
