<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fusion type joint for confirming completion/noncompletion of the current-carrying connection even from a separate place by a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: The electric fusion type joint 1 includes a joint body 2 composed of a thermoplastic resin, heating wires 3a and 3b embedded in a surface opposed to a connected pipe 6 in the joint body 2 and terminals 4a and 4b connected to both ends of the heating wires 3a and 3b and arranged on an outer peripheral surface of the joint body 2. Voids 51a and 51b for receiving power source connectors 10a and 10b connected to the terminals 4a and 4b, are formed around the terminals 4a and 4b, respectively, and sleeves 8a and 8b colored in a color different from the joint body 2 are detachably installed in the voids 51a and 51b, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
