<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp terminal which can effectively increase rigidity in a widthwise center portion of a bottom plate of a conductor crimping part or in a portion from the bottom plate to a conductor swaging piece and can minimize increase of contact resistance with a wire in a severe thermal shock environment. <P>SOLUTION: A crimping terminal has a conductor crimping part 12 connected with a conductor W of a wire by crimping. The conductor crimping part 12 comprises a bottom plate 21 having an inner surface whereon conductor is to be placed, and a pair of left and right conductor swaging pieces 22, 22 which extend on both sides of the bottom plate and are bent inward so as to wrap the conductor placed on the inner surface of the bottom plate and which have their respective tips 22A swaged so as to bite into the conductor. The conductor crimping part 12 thus has a substantially U-shaped section with the bent bottom plate 21. A bead 31 consisting of a convex 31T is formed on the inner surface of a wall plate at any position at least in a range from the bottom plate to the conductor swaging piece by punching a concave shape from the outer surface of the wall plate.
