<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost and high precision optical pickup supporting device by simplifying the structure for fixing a guide shaft to a chassis. <P>SOLUTION: An optical pickup supporting device 10 comprises: a frame shaped chassis 12; a first guide shaft 14 and a second guide shaft 16 whose both ends are fixed to the chassis 12; an optical pickup device 30 supported by both guide shafts in a movable condition; and a spindle motor 34 which is fixed to the chassis 12 via a motor supporting member 36. In a first fixing area 22 where the first guide shaft 14 is fixed to the chassis 12, a position of the first guide shaft 14 is precisely fixed by a fixed part 78 which is a protrusion on the chassis 12 and a position regulating part 52 which is a part of the motor supporting member 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
