<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping apparatus for a track and a vibration damping apparatus for a vibrating body capable of damping vibration to reduce noise. <P>SOLUTION: When a train 1 travels through a section S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>in direction D, since wheels 2R and 2L of the train 1 move rolling on rails 5R and 5L, the rails 5R and 5L in the section S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>vibrate by being applied with an impact force. When the rails 5R and 5L vibrate, a piezoelectric rubber part of a mechanical-electrical transducer 10 inserted between the rails 5R and 5L and support 6 is applied with an external force and mechanically displaced, thereby generating electric power. As a result, the mechanical-electrical transducer 10 converts the vibration generated when the train 1 enters in the section S<SB POS="POST">1</SB>into an electric signal, and the electric signal is input to an electrical-thermal transducer 11. When an electric current runs through the electrical-thermal transducer 11, the electric current is consumed by the resistance in the electrical-thermal transducer 11, and the vibration of the rails 5R and 5L is damped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
