<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of (meth)acrylic acid capable of reducing a heat removal load of the first crystallization tank, suppressing scaling on a heat transfer surface of the first crystallization tank, and elongating a lifetime of the first crystallization tank. <P>SOLUTION: In this purification method of (meth)acrylic acid for crystallizing (meth)acrylic acid by using a crystallizing device comprising a plurality of crystallization tanks having respectively a cooling mechanism performing heat exchange through the heat transfer surface, the plurality of crystallization tanks are connected in series, and the temperature of each crystallization tank is set to be lower in the order of connection, and slurry of 20-100 vol.% per hour is circulated into the first crystallization tank, with respect to the amount of slurry existing in at least one or more crystallization tanks among second and subsequent crystallization tanks from the first crystallization tank into which a raw material is introduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
