<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a reciprocating conversion mechanism for converting rotary output of an electric motor into reciprocating movement of a rod, in a jigsaw for reciprocating a blade for cut-processing, in which the reciprocating conversion mechanism is hard to be reduced in weight, since a pair of lateral guide rails supporting a slider in a reciprocating manner need to be assembled highly accurately, so that a gear housing cover made of aluminum by die casting is used separately from a body housing. <P>SOLUTION: The slider 22 is made of a plate-like metal and the guide plate part 22b thereof is held between the flange portion 20a of a guide member 20 and a support plate 26 in a plate thickness direction, configured to support a support plate part 22c in a reciprocating manner vertically while inserting the support plate part through the support hole 25a of a slider guide 25, thereby eliminating a conventional guide rail and gear housing cover to reduce weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
