<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively construct an environment allowing business to be quickly continued by an alternative machine even when failure occurs, in using operation request acceptance apparatus accepting an operation request from the other party of communication. <P>SOLUTION: In the operation request acceptance apparatus 20, a setting management section 21 reads setting information such as IP addresses which the communication apparatus 10 uses in sending the operation request to the operation request acceptance apparatus 20 from a detachable recording medium 30 and makes a communication control section 23 perform communication in accordance with the setting information.
