<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulically-driven tube expanding apparatus which can improve work efficiency of tube expanding process. <P>SOLUTION: The tube expanding apparatus 10 has a holding frame 6 which can hold a piping, a tube expanding punch 12, a first oil feed pipe 2 that feeds oil from a hydraulic pump 22 to a first hydraulic cylinder 4, and a second oil feed pipe 16 that feeds oil from the hydraulic pump 22 to a second hydraulic cylinder 14. The first hydraulic cylinder 4 can fix the piping held by the holding frame 6 by tightening the piping with hydraulic pressure. The second hydraulic cylinder 14 can insert the tube expanding punch 12 into an opening end of the piping by hydraulic pressure. Pipe diameters and lengths of the first oil feed pipe 2 and the second oil feed pipe 16 are adjusted to feed oil to the first hydraulic cylinder 4 and the second hydraulic cylinder 14 so that when the hydraulic pump 22 is driven, the piping is fixed to the holding frame 6 before the tube expanding punch 12 is inserted inside an opening end of the piping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
