<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlight that prevents leakage of light from a gap between a bumper and a parting part of a fender panel in a vehicle without causing an increase in the number of components and a cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle headlight 1 is configured as follows. At least a light source is stored in a lamp chamber 4 demarcated by a housing 2 and a lens 3 covering the front opening of the housing. A protrusion 3b is outwardly provided in the vicinity of a coupling part of the lens 3 with the housing 2. The protrusion is arranged so as to cross a gap between a bumper 22 and a parting part of a fender panel in a side view of the vehicle. The height of at least the part, crossing the gap between the bumper 22 and the parting part of the fender panel, of the protrusion 3b formed on the lens 3 is made lower than that of the other parts. For example, the part, crossing the gap between the bumper 22 and the parting part of the fender panel, of the protrusion 3b of the lens 3 is cut off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
