<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device and an image forming apparatus which cause no electrostatic offset with time and are highly reliable. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device and the image forming apparatus comprise: a fixing member for heating a toner image and fixing the image on a recording medium; a support member 23 for supporting a part or the whole of the fixing member; heating means for heating at least one of the fixing member and the support member 23; a discharging brush 41(42) for coming into contact with the support member 23 to discharge the support member 23; and regulating means 44 for regulating deformation of the discharging brush 41(42). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
