<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manuifacturing a modified polyimide resin which can easily and economically obtain a modified polyimide resin solution having a suitably controlled solution viscosity (polymerization degree) by reaction of a diisocyanate compound, one or more diol compounds including a bifunctional hydroxy-terminated polycarbonate, and a bifunctional hydroxy-terminated imide oligomer in a solvent. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the modified polyimide resin, reaction of (A) the diisocyanate compound, (B) (b1) one or more diol compounds including the bifunctional hydroxy-terminated polycarbonate expressed by chemical formula (1), and (C) the bifunctional hydroxy-terminated imide oligomer expressed by chemical formula (2) is performed in the solvent within a molar ratio of the diol compounds to the diisocyanate compound, [(B)+(C)]/(A), ranging from 1.01 to 1.09, and then (D) a monofunctional active hydrogen compound is added at a stage where the solution viscosity of the reaction mixture liquid increases up to a predetermined viscosity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
