<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize data recording reproduction structure which enables easy determination of whether a three-dimensional image is included in data recorded in a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: When recording data on the recording medium, three-dimensional image identification data indicating whether a three-dimensional image can be included in the recorded data is recorded as management information. More specifically, the three-dimensional image identification data is recorded, for example, in a clip information file set in association with a stream file that is the storage file of the image data, a play list file having reproduction section designation information with respect to the clip information file, or a disk management file in which the play list file is designated directly or indirectly.
